– everything the 2026 season has in store
Lace up those snow boots – the freeride season is knocking! We’ve already set the table for 2026: Japan, Georgia, Lofoten, Monte Rosa, a nostalgic throwback in France, a top-secret Mystery Camp, and our first-ever ski trip in the Southern Hemisphere. Dive into the plans now – by the time the first big snow falls, most spots will already be gone.
Nothing but powder
On Hokkaido, it’s not just the legendary knee-deep powder that’s waiting for you, but also the feeling of riding down the side of a volcano, carving through meters of snow, with the iconic silhouette of Mount Yotei rising in the background like a snowy twin of Fuji. Local guides lead the way through the Niseko resort area (Village, Annupuri, Hirafu, Hanazono), combining avalanche safety workshops with daily freeride tours.
New this year: a limited add-on ski touring package for those who want to go beyond the lifts and follow the true call of the mountains. If conditions allow, we’ll ascend and descend Chisenupuri, Nitonupuri, and even Mount Yotei. Untouched slopes, steamy onsens, and ramen at the end of the day – Japan is both a sport and a state of mind.

Where the Caucasus peaks meet the best of freeride
Last year, Georgia delivered more than we ever dreamed of: Mestia got record-breaking snowfall — and all signs suggest this wasn’t a one-off miracle, but the start of a new pattern. On the southern side of the Greater Caucasus, beneath 5000-meter peaks, we ride the big mountain terrain of Tetnuldi and the sheltered forests of Hatsvali — depending on whether the day brings sunshine or snowstorm. The combo of lifts and touring lets us chase the best snow every day and leave behind as many fresh lines as possible.
Mestia is far from mass tourism: no rush, no flashy developments – just raw, wild nature and genuine Georgian hospitality. The terrain is no mystery to our friend and guide Charlie either – he’s been here over ten times and knows exactly where to go when it’s time to hunt powder.

Don’t follow the map — follow the snow
A real powder-hunting mission. The date is fixed — the location is anything but. From the peaks of the Balkans to the deep valleys of the Pyrenees, anything’s on the table. The decision is made by Charlie and the GoBeyond powder team, based on one simple rule: we go where the best snow in Europe is right then.
A limited crew of 6 riders, one pro guide, five nights, four full days of concentrated freeride. Three weeks before departure, you’ll get a shortlist. Two weeks out, you’ll start to get a sense. The final decision? Might drop just a few days before we leave. We don’t go where we booked months ago. We go where the powder calls.

A hidden gem in South Tyrol
Our base is Sulden am Ortler, tucked at the foot of the 3,900-meter Ortler giant — once one of the Alps’ most remote villages, now a well-kept secret among freeride fanatics. From here, the lift takes us all the way up to 3,250 meters, and that’s where the fun begins: endless possibilities, towering peaks, and legendary descents that only open up thanks to the rare alignment of our 10 years of GoBeyond know-how and our local guide’s 40 years of mountain mastery. A once-a-year kind of ride.
This place has a legendary past: Churchill and Strauss once came here to rest, and Reinhold Messner — the godfather of mountaineering — grew up in this very valley, where he still runs his alpine school and museum today. And we come for the same reason they did: the silence, the wilderness, and the kind of freedom you only find off-piste, deep in the heart of the mountains.

One week with everything that made us fall in love with skiing
14 years ago, the very first GoBeyond ski camp took place on the slopes of Puy St. Vincent. After chasing wilder spots and ticking off more extreme destinations, we’ve realized something important: there are still very few places better suited for a true classic ski camp.
This trip is for those who’ve ridden with us over the years and are now looking to relive that old-school ski camp vibe, even if this time they’re bringing the kids along.
We’ll dive back into the defining moments of our early twenties with off-piste runs, forest banked slalom tracks, sunset jib sessions, and the kind of legendary, self-organized après-ski hangs you’ll never forget.

Not a single ski lift to explore on the rugged mountains of the islands of trolls
There’s a place 300 kilometers above the Arctic Circle where the mountains don’t rise from the land, but from the sea. On the Lofoten Islands, the concept of ski resorts simply doesn’t exist – here we ride wide, mellow slopes all the way down to the fjords, or tackle steep, dramatic faces where every turn counts.
This wild archipelago of 80 snow-covered islands, fjords and jagged cliffs becomes one of the world’s most spectacular ski touring playgrounds in late spring. The sun barely sets, giving us long days to climb, explore and chase new lines. And when it finally dips below the horizon, the show isn’t over – the northern lights might just show up for an encore.
If you’ve still got energy after all that, we’ll try Arctic surfing too – riding waves in the shadow of icebergs is an experience you’ll never forget

Three days. Three 4000-meter peaks.
A high-alpine ski tour for advanced riders with certified mountain guides. We’ll aim to conquer three 4000+ m summits in just three days — including skiing down from the 4,625 m Monte Rosa. The journey starts with a night in the valley at Alagna-Val Sesia, then three intense ski-touring days, staying in two different mountain huts, before wrapping it up back in the valley. Pro tip: this is one you’ll want to train for.

Because somewhere, it’s always snowing
Why wait half a year between ski seasons? On the other side of the globe, the Andes are calling — and we’re answering. Skiing on active volcanoes, riding above 5,000-meter peaks, soaking up sub-tropical valleys, exploring wild coastlines, and tasting some of the world’s finest wine and food.
On this two-week road trip, we’ll hit four of Chile’s most epic ski resorts across two regions, stay everywhere from mountain huts to seaside escapes to wine resorts, and wrap it all up in the six-million-strong capital, Santiago. Then we’ll hop over the Andes for a final stop in Mendoza, Argentina — homeland of Malbec and asado.
