This tour is perfect for surfers and those eager to learn, but it’s also ideal for anyone wanting to explore the unique attractions and experiences Sri Lanka has to offer.
Sri Lanka is famous for its tea plantations, its stunning rain forests, and its sandy beaches. But, there are also two distinct historical flavors that have left a lasting mark on the island: one is the colonial architecture, the other is thousands of years of Buddhist culture that continues to inspire the decorative flair of the island.
But it’s Sri Lanka’s natural landscape that makes this island country especially interesting. Along the way, we visit Yala or Udawalawe National Park where we’ll spot elephants, bears and even crocodiles. On another day we jump on a boat and head out whale watching, perhaps even spot some dolphins from right up close. We also visit a local turtle farm, where baby turtles are raised.
Of course the itinerary won’t be too packed; we want to leave heaps of time to soak up the unique experiences that Sri Lanka has to offer even in our down-time. Take your time sipping coconut water on the beach, or sit back and relax while drinking beer on an uninhabited island.
The duration of the trip lasts from meeting at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) / Colombo until the flight home from the same airport. The flight there and back might take an extra day, depending on where you are travelling from.

8 nights in a dreamy oceanfront boutique surf camp tucked right into the heart of Sri Lanka’s surf scene at Ahangama Beach. Air-conditioned, light-filled rooms with soft beds and all the little things you need to truly relax.
The pool sits just steps from the ocean, surrounded by palm trees and a Tiki bar for slow mornings or post-surf siestas. The vibe is warm, open, and social, with a lush garden that rolls straight down to the beach. And when it’s time to explore, all the island’s highlights are just a quick tuk-tuk ride away.
As an experienced surfer, would you rather hit the advanced spots with your buddies? Or would you prefer to do more yoga sessions and visit tea plantations in the mountains? Are you a family traveller who prefers safaris and beaches? If you're looking for a different time, a trip with family or friends, a little more sport or a more relaxing activity, feel free to contact us with your ideas and we'll be happy to organise the adventure of your dreams.
