Fresh swells, salty air, and everything you love about the coast, coming your way again.
In the 2025/26 surf season, we’re bringing back old favorites and adding new gems to the map — from the Azores and Morocco to Indonesia and a family-friendly surf camp in Sri Lanka. Each destination has its own rhythm, natural beauty, and vibe, but one thing’s guaranteed: you’ll take home way more than just a board shot for the feed.
Beginner or advanced? Flying solo or bringing your crew? Just dipping your toes in or ready for the biggest ride of your life? Pick your pace and your vibe — we’ll take you to places where surfing isn’t just a sport, it’s a whole state of mind.
Where every turn reveals another postcard-perfect view.
The Azores look like nature’s personal playground — as if it tested its best tricks right here: lush green hills, vivid crater lakes in blues and greens, hidden hot springs, secret waterfalls, and endless waves rolling in from all sides. Think Jurassic Park vibes, with a surfboard under your arm.
The island is compact enough that you can reach any spot within 40 minutes, which means we always hit the best breaks of the day. Sergio — our local coach, who knows the island better than his own backyard — always knows exactly where to paddle out. If you’re a beginner, he’ll get you comfortable with the basics. If you’re more advanced, he’ll push your skills further and teach proper technique to level up your maneuvers.
We’ll visit Europe’s only tea and pineapple plantations, hike up to the island’s highest lake, Lagoa do Fogo, and in the evenings, either grill on the terrace of our villa or head out for dinner at a bio-farm restaurant or one of Portugal’s top steakhouses — because local culture deserves to be tasted too.
And if you’re the kind of surfer who’d sacrifice just about anything for the perfect wave, we’ve got something for you too: a smaller, more exclusive Azores camp just for advanced riders. We don’t advertise it publicly. There are no tourist stops — just a daily rhythm shaped entirely by the swells. From a strategically chosen base, we chase the best breaks every single day. The goal? Maximum time in the water, under the best conditions.

This trip starts with a propeller plane and ends with you grinning on a white sand beach.
Siargao isn’t the kind of place you just casually pop over to. By the time you arrive, your mind has already shifted into a slower, softer, more open rhythm. And while the waves alone — world-class, by any standard — are reason enough to come, this island feels like it was custom-made for surf holidays. Think: breezy thatched-roof villas, ocean-view pools, mango smoothies in hand, palm trees all around, and water so clear it could make even the toughest surfer emotional.
Here, surfing is as natural as a morning coffee elsewhere. Just starting out? You’ll have a personal coach who knows exactly how to ease you into reef break riding. Already advanced? Welcome to paradise. Not in the mood to surf? No problem. Island-hop with us by boat, explore caves, or simply walk into the sea with a cocktail in hand.
Everyone finds their own version of freedom here — the kind of trip that leaves your smile a little saltier for weeks to come.
New Year’s Eve, but make it surf. The waves roll forever and sunsets last even longer.
If the sound of crashing waves sounds better than clinking champagne glasses this New Year’s Eve, you’re in the right place. We’re kicking off the new year on the coast of Morocco, in a tiny Berber fishing village — but not before a full week of surfing, soaking up the sun, feasting on couscous, and easing into a pace of life that couldn’t be further from the usual end-of-year chaos.
Imsouane has a vibe all its own: poolside hangs, rooftop breakfasts in golden light, and some of the friendliest, longest rides you’ll ever catch. No exaggeration — you can surf up to 500 meters in a single go. The bay’s mellow, predictable waves are basically made for falling in love with the ocean.
Wander through spice-scented markets, admire handwoven rugs, and explore Essaouira — a port town that somehow blends history, bohemian charm, and laid-back rhythm all at once (just ask Jimi Hendrix, who once called it home). The call to prayer, the scent of tajine, and the hush of evening surf — that’s how we’re saying goodbye to this year, and hello to the next.
The heart of the surf world without the clichés. Pure surfing, yoga, and a wealth of culinary and cultural treasures.
Indonesia has earned its spot on just about every traveler’s bucket list — and for good reason. This island nation is lush, vibrant, wildly diverse, and still one of the world’s most iconic surf destinations.
But popularity has its price. That’s why it matters who you explore it with. Our first test trip here sold out in no time last year, and it was so good that returning was a no-brainer. Your guide, Szancsi, has been chasing waves and hidden gems across the islands for 15 years — and he knows exactly where to take you if you’re after the real, unfiltered Indonesia. Forget the postcards. This is the good stuff.
Bali is where life moves fast — buzzing beach clubs, sunrise yoga, sunset surf hunts. Lombok, on the other hand, invites you to slow all the way down. Wide beaches, Buddhist temples, and island rhythm. Put them together and you get the kind of balance a proper trip deserves.
This adventure is a full taste menu: beach clubs and temple visits, long tropical surf sessions and slow moments carved out for meditation and stillness.
If you’ve ever stood on a surfboard (or dreamed about it), these islands are a must-see at least once in your life.
Sri Lanka is where our surf story began. Our very first ocean-side GoBeyond trip set off here back in 2012 — and we’ve been returning ever since. For good reason.
The country is now more stable and welcoming than ever. It’s safe, vibrant, and beautifully livable. The surf is world-class, the service is refined, the locals are genuinely kind, and the coffee and cuisine easily rival the bigger island names.
This year, we’re opening a new chapter: after a long search, we found not one, but two dream bases — and we couldn’t choose between them. So we kept both.
One is a quiet, colonial villa hidden in a lush garden, perfect for families and anyone craving a slower pace. The other is an oceanfront surf spot with direct water access — the home base for those chasing waves. The two are just a short ride apart, so we often spend days together and return to our own vibes come evening.
The vibe is easy but rich: mornings chasing waves, evenings filled with beach dinners, tunes, and chill sessions under the stars.
And if you want to dive even deeper into the island, join our optional four-day mountain add-on. Think tea plantations, waterfalls, organic farms 1000m above sea level, wild elephants, crisp mountain air, and one of the most scenic train rides on Earth. By day, misty views and green hills. By night, fireplace chats and spicy curry. It’s a side of Sri Lanka most travelers never see.

We don’t believe epic surf only happens at the far ends of the world. In fact, there are days when Europe’s coastlines totally deliver. And when that happens, you might just find yourself swept into a spontaneous gastro-surf weekend somewhere between Bordeaux and Lisbon.
These off-the-map adventures won’t show up on the website, and they won’t be planned months in advance. But if you’re a Club member, you’ll be the first to hear about them — and you’ll get to ride out with the crew. Keep an eye on your inbox, because one day that message might drop: “now!” And off we go for a last-minute beach landing.
Moral of the story? Maybe keep a few vacation days handy this year.
