*The trip begins on the final day of our Sri Lanka surf camp and ends with your departure from Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB).
Our five-day adventure tour is an optional add-on for those who aren’t ready to head home right after our Sri Lanka surf camp and would rather explore more of the island. When the scent of tea replaces the waves, the ocean blue gives way to jungle green, and surf sessions turn into hikes and yoga.
We spend two nights at a community tea, coffee, and spice farm, where we learn about eco-farming, explore the surrounding valleys on foot, take in stunning views, and join yoga, tastings, or even a cooking class for those who wish.
Next, we set off on one of the world’s most beautiful train journeys, leaning out of open doors as we ride across viaducts above tea plantations and through mountain villages. By evening, we arrive in Nuwara Eliya – a step back into the British colonial era, complete with afternoon tea and cozy fire-lit bars.
An elephant sanctuary awaits us as well, where rescued and orphaned animals live in peace and safety. We wrap up the trip on Sri Lanka’s West Coast, with one final sunset framed by palm trees.

Throughout the trip, we stay in three different accommodations. For the first two nights, we are based at an organic farm and guesthouse run by a local community in Uva Province, nestled in a small valley with views of Ella Rock and Lipton’s Seat. Our hosts produce handcrafted teas, coffees, and spices, while collaborating with the community on educational, economic, and environmental initiatives.
Next, we stay at an elegant hotel overlooking the city of Nuwara Eliya, transporting us back to the British colonial era. On the final night, we stay near Negombo Beach, enjoying one last stunning orange sunset over the Indian Ocean.
