Our clients stumbled upon our Mongolia Motorcycle Tour online, loved it, but wanted to tweak it a bit to suit their riding skills, curiosities, and must-see spots. The group was made up of 7 young Americans, all with strong off-road riding experience.
We were instantly on board and excited to craft a custom trip just for them. With our extensive knowledge and past experiences in Mongolia, we knew exactly how to adapt the adventure to their needs.
Initially, they aimed to ride all the way to the Gobi Desert, but given the untamed nature of the Mongolian steppes, we knew that could be a bit too ambitious. Instead, we deviated from our usual route, modified 3 days of the tour, and still managed to ride through some epic sand dunes.
Following in the footsteps of Genghis Khan, we ended up becoming a bit nomadic ourselves.
We celebrated birthdays, drank kumis, and feasted on food prepared in a yurt, out in the middle of nowhere. We rode horses up to monasteries perched on hilltops over 2,000 meters high. Spaghetti, noodle soups, and sandwiches for lunch, always served with a side of laughter and mysterious words we pretended to understand every single day.
