Mountain Guide
Charlie spends a significant part of his life in the mountains. A lover and high-level practitioner of winter sports, he has competed in numerous world championships and World Cups, represented Hungary as a biathlete at the Sochi Winter Olympics, and was the first from Hungary to take on Greenland’s Arctic Circle Race in cross-country skiing.
A professional mountain guide, Charlie can lead you up any mountain in the world, by any means—whether it’s rock climbing, ice climbing, freeriding, or extreme ski touring. The Alps are his home, and each year he makes dozens of trips between downtown Chamonix and the summit of Mont Blanc with grateful climbing clients. In extreme mountain environments, no one inspires a greater sense of safety than Charlie.
Between the summer climbing and winter skiing seasons, he enjoys surfing, usually in Morocco or Portugal, and, when time allows, he lends a hand with the harvest and winemaking at an innovative winery in southern France.
